Farewell

Dear all,

As some of you may already know, today will be my last day with Adacellworks/Nokia Networks as I have decided to continue my career in another place. Throughout the two years working here, I have grown considerably from both a professional and personal standpoint. I have learned so much that it is truly remarkable when I look back. Each one of you has helped in that learning process, and I want to thank you all for that. I would also like to thank you all for cooperation and friendship during this time. This has been an exciting chapter in my life, and I will never forget it. So, I would like to wish everyone the best in their future endeavors, as well as provide a way to stay in touch. Going forward, feel free to contact me via e-mail or mobile phone. It would certainly be nice to hear from all of you.

Finally.. like we always say in this 'small' telecommunication world, i'll see you around :)

Gw inget tanggal 13 oktober 2 tahun lalu gw ke menara mulia lt 27, ketemu wanita bernama Yessi Yulistiari, yang kemudian memperkenalkan gw dengan pria Pakistan paruh baya bernama Mirza Ahmad. Selanjutnya gw di-interview oleh Pak Mirza yang ternyata CEO dari sebuah konsultan telekomunikasi multinational yang salah satu projectnya ada di Jakarta.

Gw mati kutu waktu Pak Mirza nanya soal Maxwell Equation. Gw cuman bisa nyengir waktu Pak Mirza nanya soal isotropic antenna. Beberapa pertanyaan lain juga gw jawab sekenanya aja, sebatas "I knew that concept is used in this area" atau "I took a course on that subject" dan jawaban2 cupu lainnya. Kebanyakan sok tau kayaknya :D

Keesokan harinya, 14 Oktober 2004, gw disuruh ketemu Technical Manager Yugo Budiyanto. Dan hari itu gw resmi memulai debut gw sebagai seorang telecommunication engineer.

3 November 2006, gw resign.

Dua tahun yang gw lewati di company itu berarti banget. Sebenernya selama ini sih gw gak terlalu ngerasain hal ini. Sampe ketika tadi gw nulis farewell letter itu. Apa yang gw tulis di situ bener2 mewakili perasaan gw sebenernya. I truly mean it guys..

Sedihnya, di hari terakhir gw di kantor ini gw justru gak bisa ketemu mbak Yessi yang sedang dirawat di RS, Pak Mirza yang sedang di Amerika Serikat (atau negara manapun deh), dan Pak Yugo yang sedang sibuk entah dimana. My greatest thanks to you all.

Damn.. I never thought that I would feel this way about leaving this company. But I surely do.

I do believe that I move for good reasons. I'm sorry to leave. And I will definitely miss you all.
