tanya "kenapa?"

the title above has nothing to do with the some local cigar campaign (nope.. wilson didn't pay me to promote his company on my blog, although i would like to do that if i were paid :p). it's just the sentence i keep using for the past couple days. i keep asking people "kenapa?" when they talk to me. yes i'm half deaf. something is going really wrong with my right ears that i can't hardly hear what people say, especially when they're on right side of me.

i don't know what caused this temporary disability (yes.. it's temporary i strongly hope). and i did't really care about the effect that may annoy me. i did't. until this afternoon.

i went to have lunch in one of my fave restaurant in town: marche movenpick. you can go to graha surya internusa, next to Gran Melia hotel if you wanna try eating there. i'd be very happy to accompany :)

after ordering shabuki (tempting and healthy for sure..), i took a place in 'san fransisco corner', near the window. and right in front of me, i saw one of the most gorgeous person alive: rio febrian. he was eating some bratwurst, looked yummy (both the bratwurst and rio himself, hehe..)

he was with some friends. and i couldn't help hearing what they were talking about. you know this 'infotainment' soul of mine is never really dead, even i was kinda thinking that i just don't give a damn about gossip anymore.

the interesting part was when rio said something about glenn fredly. i move a little bit closer to him (gak ngaruh sih.. he was about 2 meters in front of me, and there were tables thank u!). he said something about glenn fredly and dewi sandra. omigod! that might be not a gossip, but that was a fact! came from glenn fredly's best friend. for you who aren't really following me here, rio is glenn's best friend, at least that's what they keep saying on infotainments.

damn i couldn't really hear what he said. thanks to my half deaf. so i just missed the opportunity of meeting my gossip pals and tell them: "eh eh.. tau gak sih.. kata rio febrian nih.. si glenn kan blah blah blah.."

huh!

i think the best that i can do is just telling them: "eh eh.. tau gak sih.. tadi gw lunch ama rio febrian!" well.. gossip is always about fact plus bumbu2 kan, hihihi...

now i just hope that tomorrow i will wake up and i can hear the world clearly using both of my ears. amin.

*the audience say: ke dokter THT aja kali!*

p.s. i also had a little problem in ordering chicken steak. the cook was in front of the grill, so there was a little bit noisy. just imagine the situation. me, half deaf, and noise from grill. i ended up with muka ditekuk sembilan just in order to tell him to make 1 chicken steak, bbq sauce, and french fries. aargh!
